Contemporary Solutions in Dentoalveolar Surgery, Tissue Management, and Implant Dentistry
In this 2-day course, Dr. H. Ryan Kazemi will present current treatment solutions for common oral surgery procedures including extractions, socket preservation, and soft tissue management. Also addressed will be the digital workflow in both partial and full arch dental implant therapies to achieve optimal results with a discussion of transitional restoration strategies from both the surgical and restorative perspectives. Hands-on component will include incision and flap design for various procedures and a review of suturing techniques and materials.
Ryan Kazemi, DMD is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is the founder and CEO of Kazemi Oral Surgery & Dental Implants and maintains a full time oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Bethesda, Maryland. He is also the founder and director of Facialart Dental Forum, a dentaleducational platform. He received his dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He then attended a one-year general practice residency at The Albert Einstein MedicalCenter and subsequently completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at The WashingtonHospital Center in Washington DC. He is a member of American Association of Oral and maxillofacialSurgery, Academy of Osseointegration, Academy of Sports Dentistry, DentalXP, EntrepreneurOrganization (EO), and a number of other professional dental organizations. He is also a contributor and‘Xpert’ for DentalXP and Vumedi. Dr. H. Ryan Kazemi lectures and publishes regularly on dental implants, bone and soft tissue grafting, and digital dentistry.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Develop a working knowledge of Digital Dentistry including the applications and interpretation ofCBCT images for partial and full arch implant
- Enhance each participant’s understanding of Hard and Soft tissue Management to improve implant sitedevelopment through Osseodensification in Bone, while highlighting an awareness of Soft tissue Considerations
- Improve Proficiency in a variety of Dentoalveolar Surgery areas including Contemporary Third Molar Surgery. 2. PartialExtraction Therapy/Socket Shield and SRT. 3. Management of Exodontia Complications. 4. Socket Preservation/ Augmentation, and Bone Grafting Techniques.
- Understand the Application and Biologics involved in Tissue regeneration.
