Course Description
This course will cover different alternatives to treat the complete and partially edentulous patient with removable and fixed prosthetics. Starting with traditional methods utilizing natural tooth-supported solutions, and progressing through more advanced applications for removable implant-retained overdentures and fixed protheses. This program will focus on additional benefits for both the patient and clinician utilizing the gold standard of attachment systems. This presentation covers: diagnosis and treatment planning of the patient with a failing or terminal dentition, advantages provided by implant-retained overdentures, patient selection, component selection, processes, and techniques. Including advantages and disadvantages of different retention modalities along with clinical cases.

3. Step by step protocol for the denture conversion into an immediately loaded fixed prosthesis
4. Understand the workflow for the fabrication of the definitive prosthesis
PRESENTER: Dr. Xavier E. Saab
Dr. Saab completed his residency in Prosthodontics and Master of Science degree at the University of Texas – Houston Health Science Center. He was awarded a full scholarship after graduating Valedictorian of his dental school class from the University of Guayaquil in Ecuador. Dr. Saab completed Head and Neck rotations at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the UTHHSC Department of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Saab is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of Osseointegration, Dr. Saab continues his pursuit of excellence by practicing prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Houston where he has been established for over 10 years. He bases his education philosophy in his conviction that in order to master a skill, it is necessary to be able to transmit it to others, and that’s the source of his passion for teaching. He has been lecturing nationally and internationally in the areas of CAD/CAM dentistry, dental aesthetics, occlusion, and implant dentistry for over a decade.
COVID-19 precautions will be taken at this course. Each participant will be placed at their own 6ft table. Lunch will also be served in the classroom at your own table to maintain social distancing.
